Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Floatline. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Floatline forecasts your business bank balance day by day, based on the figures you enter and the data you choose to connect. It is a planning tool.
Forecasts are models, not guarantees
Floatline does not provide financial, accounting, tax or investment advice. Forecasts are estimates produced from your own assumptions and payment-timing models. Real-world timing varies — payment processors, banks and suppliers do not settle on exact schedules. Reconcile weekly against your actual bank balance and treat variance within roughly ±5% as normal. Decisions you make using Floatline are yours, and you should consult a qualified accountant or advisor for advice specific to your circumstances.
Your account
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for who you invite.
- You must have the right to access any business or platform data you connect.
- Accounts are for business use, not for consumers.
Your data
You own your data. We store and process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or request deletion at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to breach the service's security or access other businesses' data, don't resell the service without agreement, and don't use it to break the law.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Connected platforms may change or restrict their APIs, which can interrupt data syncing outside our control.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Floatline is provided “as is” and our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for business losses arising from decisions made using forecasts.
Termination
You may stop using Floatline at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical.
